A little about ourselves
We are a small, family run ISO consultancy with more than 30 years of hands on experience. Based near Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire, we help businesses understand, implement and achieve certification for ISO management systems. Our approach is practical and straightforward, with every system designed to reflect how the business actually operates.
ISO Consultants is operated by Independent Audit and Inspection Services Ltd. Our aim is not simply to help clients pass an audit. We want each management system to become a useful part of the business, improving consistency and efficiency while supporting new opportunities and long term growth.

We do not conduct certification audits or award certification. Meet the team
Colin Brown
Senior Consultant & Founder of ISO Consultants
Colin began his career with a traditional apprenticeship in electronics and telecommunications and has since worked in quality related roles at every level. His experience has taken him from the shop floor to management positions in manufacturing and major project implementation, followed by work supporting ISO certification and consultancy.
This varied background gives Colin a practical understanding of how standards work within real businesses. He specialises in turning complex ISO requirements into sensible systems that support everyday operations.
Rob Brown
ISO Consultant
Rob has a background in business development, IT services and medical devices. Before joining ISO Consultants in 2017, he spent three years managing management systems and CE technical files for a UK manufacturer. He now specialises in information security and medical device approvals.
Rob holds an ISO 27001 Lead Assessor qualification, along with professional qualifications in environmental management and health and safety.
